Tops Friendly Markets is piloting the Flashfood app in six of its stores. Through the program, Tops can offer fresh items nearing their sell-by dates at significantly reduced prices. Tops will post available product on the Flashfood app, and shoppers can purchase directly through the app and then pick up their items at a designated area in participating stores.
